Monday Early Dismissal Reminder

Good evening.
As a reminder, due to the total solar eclipse occurring tomorrow, Monday, April 8th, Center for Spectrum Services has an early dismissal for all students to ensure their safety during this rare celestial event. Dismissal is at 11:30am.
Viewing a solar eclipse without proper eye protection can be hazardous; we want to ensure that students do not attempt to observe the eclipse without adequate supervision or safety measures. This early dismissal will ensure that all students can reach home safely prior to the eclipse and will have the opportunity to safely view it.
The New York State Center for School Health has provided guidelines for eye safety during a solar eclipse (https://bit.ly/4cK6EUO). We urge all families to follow these guidelines if viewing the eclipse.
