Now more than ever before, parents have had to take on the additional role of educator while juggling their other various roles and responsibilities. Although this has been stressful for most, this has also created many opportunities to help your child develop language, learn new skills, practice what they know, improve social skills, and decrease challenging behaviors. This workshop also is appropriate for professionals as they support parents in addressing these needs.

Pleases join Beth Estes for this 2-part workshop, which is designed for families, professionals in education, and/or other community members who are looking to increase their knowledge and awareness of the most effective ways to decrease challenging behaviors and improve positive behaviors within the home or other educational setting. During this workshop, you will learn about functions of behavior, reinforcement, proactive supports, reactive interventions, and teaching strategies. This live training will include embedded videos as well as time for Q & A’s to enhance your understanding.

Beth Estes is a New York state certified school psychologist and a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She has worked in various school districts over the years, as well as in a residential school setting serving both adults and school-aged children diagnosed with Autism. Since December 2019, she has been working at the Center for Spectrum Services in Kingston, New York, serving children (ages 2-12) who have been diagnosed with Autism or related disorders.
