Getting a Good Night Sleep is Possible – Autism and Sleep Problems

January 17, 2019 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Parent Workshop
Thursday, January 17th 12:30pm – 2:00pm – Kingston School
Presented by Leah Siuta, MPS – Spectrum Services Family Services Department Head
Please note that an RSVP is needed to lsiuta@centerforspectrumservices.org

Sleep is such a precious commodity, especially for the children and families whose lives are influenced by patterns of disrupted sleep. Does your child struggle with going to sleep, staying asleep, or rising too early? Disrupted sleep can interfere with health, learning, behavior, and family peace. However, Autism is not a life sentence of poor sleep and tired days. We will look at the most common sleep issues, evaluate the factors which may be contributing, and strategies for intervention.

Please note that an RSVP is needed to lsiuta@centerforspectrumservices.org. Groups are free of charge for any family of a child with a developmental disability. If school is closed due to inclement weather, the workshop will be cancelled.
