Parent Workshop: Introduction to Autism
October 6, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Even if you feel you have a good understanding of Autism, this workshop will give you a view from our educational perspective, and sets the foundation for our programming. This workshop is also perfect for new parents, extended family members, general education providers, and our community as a whole. We hope that it will help everyone have a greater understanding, awareness, and acceptance of how autism impacts the lives of children and their families. We will also discuss ways in which we can provide support as well as general guidelines for caregivers. The same workshop is taking place earlier this same day.
