I knew Center for Spectrum Services was a magical place when Abbie was about to age out of Early Intervention and we visited the school for the first time. Our appointment was first thing in the morning, during student drop off and arrival. We adults may at times be able to modify our behavior when we are observed, but these beautiful children…not so
much.

Watching the students filtering in, we could see that they felt like they were at home, in a safe place, and loved. The students came from all over, from a variety of situations and households.

They truly are all over every spectrum, but they all seemed happy to see the classroom staff member who was greeting them each day.
