The successful candidate will be motivated, high energy and responsible individual. Good knowledge of occupational therapy principles, including sensory processing methods and techniques required. Therapist provides direct therapy to students, consults with staff, maintains log notes and writes educational goals and objectives under the supervision of the OTR.

Excellent oral and written skills, organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with coworkers, families and school districts a must.

NYS certification as Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is mandatory

Registered Physical Therapist - Kingston, New York

Openings: Immediate, Summer and/or Fall 2012.
We are seeking a full time Physical Therapist, to join our model program for students with autism in scenic Kingston, New York.

Provide direct therapy in accordance with each student’s IEP, consult with classroom staff, maintain treatment notes, quarterly and annual reports, as well as  supervision of PTAs.
The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students, coworkers, and families.

Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant

Immediate opening for a  full or part-time Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant.

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated and responsible individual. Each therapist provides direct therapy to students, consults with staff, maintains treatment notes and educational goals with the PTA working under the supervision of the PT.

Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a full time Accounting Clerk with a minimum of 3 years experience.

The qualified candidate will have fluency in computerized general ledger systems, Excel and Word. Experience with Fund EZ and/or Access is preferred. Previous not for profit experience is ideal.

The successful candidate will:                
• Process monthly related service forms and associated databases
• Maintain staff certification and Medicaid compliance certification
• Prepare and process quarterly and year-end reports for grants
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for general operating account and others as assigned
• Prepare and maintain assigned audit schedules

This position requires a well organized, self starter, able to meet tight deadlines, and work cooperatively in a team as well as work independently.

Substitute Teacher Aide

Substitute teacher aide positions are a great opportunity for those interested in human services or education. Aides work in a classroom under the direct supervision of a Special Education Teacher to provide instruction to students. Both full-time and part-time positions are available and we offer a flexible work schedule. Experience is helpful but not required. Ongoing in-service training is provided.

High School Diploma or GED required.
