Special Education Teacher – Beginning September 2023
Center for Spectrum Services is seek a full time Special Education Teacher for our Kingston location.
We are looking for a person that has the skills to supervise their own staff and implement educational strategies in the classroom. The successful candidate is passionate about working with children on the Autism Spectrum ages 3-12 years of age and provide creative instruction to students according to their IEP, classroom leadership and supervision to classroom staff.

Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist
We are seeking a full time Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist, beginning September 4, 2023 in Kingston, NY
The successful candidate will provide direct therapy in accordance with each student’s IEP, evaluate communicative status, consult with classroom staff, prepare lesson plans, maintain quantitative/qualitative data, and write quarterly updates of goals and objectives.
The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students, coworkers, families and school district personnel. We provide quality training, a supportive work environment, and supervision.

Teacher Assistants
Center for Spectrum Services is seeking motivated individuals to work-full time and part-time beginning September 5th. The ideal candidate will work in our early childhood classrooms under the direct supervision of a Special Education Teacher.
Applicants should possess a positive and reliable work ethic. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary classroom team. Tasks will include instruction to students, increasing ADL skills (including bathroom and feeding skills), preparing materials and attending on-going training.

Development & Public Relations Intern
Center for Spectrum Services is offering an unpaid internship in the area of Fundraising and Public Relations. Interns will work closely and learn from a nonprofit executive with over twenty years leadership experience, having worked in most aspects of organizational management, financial management, and business planning, with special emphasis on fundraising, public relations, and outreach.
The Development and Public Relations Intern will report to, and work closely with, the Development and Public Relations Officer. Opportunities to work in the area of:
General Outreach, Marketing, and Public Relations
Will work on email broadcast design, layout, and distribution.
Social Media posts and organization.
Data entry of new information to support marketing endeavors.
General office support and assistance, donor data entry.
Event Planning, Execution, and Management:
Will assist on any upcoming fundraising events.
Will work on event marketing, social media outreach
Assist in handling event reservations.
Help organize donated goods and services for auctions.
Other event planning support as needed.
This internship will be onsite at our Kingston School. Our internships offer a flexible schedule that aligns well with school course work (up to 8 hours per week). Candidates will need to have a background check to comply with state educational requirements.
