Student Weekly Health Check-In

Dear Parents:
This week is so eventful for all of us, and we are delighted to have your child back in school! Our foremost Guiding Principle is that the safety and well-being of our students and staff are our primary concern. It is in our thoughts monthly, weekly, and every day.

Student Weekly Health Assessment
To keep your child and his/her classmates safe, we are initiating a Weekly Health Check-In we’re asking you to complete. Just take your child’s temperature, and fill out a simple, online form that can be quickly completed before your child comes to school that week. Please make sure to complete this quick online form before you send your child to school for the first time that week. If you want to see what it looks like, and maybe do a practice run:

Click Here for Group A Students
Click Here for Group B Students

Go ahead and test drive it! Enter the information and submit it, see what happens if you were to enter a “Yes” to one of the questions. We won’t be starting until this Sunday, so check it out.

Here’s the Good Part
To make it as easy as possible, the afternoon before your student comes to school for the week, we’ll send you a text message (or email for those who prefer) with a link to the online form. Thus, Group A parents will receive a text Sunday, and Group B parents will receive theirs Wednesday. Complete the form anytime that afternoon if you’d like, but no later than before they leave home to come to school the next day. When used on your phone, it acts very much like a cellphone app, to help speed you through the process (which should take under a minute or two). In fact, since the beginning of September, our staff have been doing a similar online Health Check-In each morning before they come to work.

Remember, for students to be able to come to school, they must be without fever for 24 hours and without the use of fever-reducing medication. Again, the safety and well-being of our students and staff are our primary concern, and by keeping ourselves safe, we keep each other safe.

What Next
Because we have the upcoming Columbus Day holiday on Monday, instead of Sunday, we will be sending Group A Parents their reminder text and link to the form on Monday afternoon, and will be sending Group B Parents theirs on Wednesday afternoon of next week, just click the link in the message, complete the form, and you’re done for the week. Going forward, you’ll receive the text message once a week, except for holidays.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Family Service Coordinator.
