Scott Herrington

Scott Herrington is a retired Kingston police officer who, in 1999, purchased Sav-On party rental from his father-in-law, and continued to grow the business to become the premier event equipment rental company in the Hudson Valley. With Scott’s daughter, Chelsea, taking her place in Sav-On’s operations, a third generation continues its success.

Scott has been involved in charity work throughout the area for many years, on top of his current board work here at Spectrum Services, he is a former member of The Arc of Ulster-Greene Foundation Board, and also served six years on the Board of the Ulster Chamber of Commerce. Scott is a leader in our community, always striving to make the Hudson Valley a better place to live and work. In Fact, Scott is the 2018 recipient of the Heart of Ulster County Award and we couldn’t be prouder.

Scott joined the Spectrum Services Board of Trustees in late 2017, and immediately went to work organizing a fundraiser gala for April of 2018 for our Autism Awareness Month activities. The event was a wonderful success, and has now become one of our annual fundraisers.

Scott is honored to support the school through his work on the board, fundraising, and his outreach, and more so, on behalf of the students who attend Spectrum Services, and their families.
