No stranger to the Hudson Valley, Mike spent a lot of time in the area when his parents bought a vacation home in the mountains in West Shokan in 1956. Years later, Mike and his wife moved to the Mid-Hudson Valley permanently in 1979, where he later opened his accounting practice in Woodstock, recently retiring in 2016.
When he first came across Spectrum Services, Mike was working at Benedictine Hospital, which was right across the street from the Sophie Finn School, where Spectrum Services was located at the time. Mike has been a member of the Center for Spectrum Services Board of Trustees since 1986. Over the years Mike served on the Board as member, Treasurer, and President. Mike’s accounting experience, and previous work as in auditor within the NYS Department of Health, has been a major help to Spectrum Services and its Finance Committee.
As a Board of Trustees member, what Mike enjoys most is knowing that his talents, time, and skill-sets have been given to supporting life-changing programs and services that have touched so many children and their families throughout the Hudson Valley.
