Understanding Your Child’s Sensory System

In this workshop participants will learn practical strategies to improve their child’s function in their various daily environment. A variety of sensory activities and environmental strategies will be highlighted using hands on participation. The group will explore different activities and equipment that are used during the school day and learn ways to incorporate them in the home setting. Participants will be actively engaging in sensory activities so be prepared to get a little messy!”
Please note that an RSVP is needed to lsiuta@centerforspectrumservices.org. Groups are free of charge for any family of a child with a developmental disability. If school is closed due to inclement weather, the workshop will be cancelled.
