Parent Workshop: Understanding Behavior

This workshop helps parents who have a child with ASD to further develop strategies to handle behaviors that either interfere with learning new skills or address challenging behaviors they want to reduce. We will address key components of behavior including understanding the function of the behavior, selecting replacement behaviors to teach, changing antecedents, and considering how we should respond when behaviors occur. Childcare for the evening session is provided for CSS students, alumni and siblings Presented by Leah Siuta MPS, Family Service Department Head.
