Calling in Absences

Dear Parents,

To report an absence on an in-person school day or a remote session day:

For Kingston students, call the central number 845-336-2616 ext. #400.
For Ellenville students, call the central number 845-647-6464, no ext. needed.

When you use this method to report your child’s absence, there is no need to write a note. Just provide:

• The name of the student
• Their class or session to be cancelled
• The date the child is out
• The name of the person calling and their relationship to the student
• The reason why the student is absent.

If cancelling a particular remote session, also send an email to the teacher or therapist.
