Autism Awareness Art Exhibition

Throughout the Month of April
Art Society of Kingston (ASK) – 97 Broadway, Kingston
An Autism Awareness Month Event

For Autism Awareness Month, Center for Spectrum Services is once again organizing an Autism Awareness Art Show featuring artwork by our students. In fact, many of our Spectrum Services students show a high aptitude for artistic ability, and with it, an amazing ability to translate their particular views of the world into their own art pieces.

For those with autism, producing artwork can be a comfort and relief, allowing the artist to express his or herself freely, while using various media that oftentimes don’t rely on the heavy constraints of verbal communication. This year the exhibition will include artwork by siblings and family members of children with autism, as well.

We’re delighted to be hosted by Arts Society of Kingston (ASK), located on Broadway near the Kingston waterfront. Take in the unique life perspectives of our students and their families!
