CENTER FOR SPECTRUM SERVICES TO HOST ESTATE PLANNING SEMINAR


Kingston, NY-February 8, 2010—The Center for Spectrum Services (formerly The Children’s Annex) will host an educational seminar on estate planning called, “Creating a Legacy” on Wednesday, March 3 from 10 am to noon at 70 Kukuk Lane in Kingston.  

The two hour event will be led by Spectrum Services Foundation Board members Gregory Pike, a financial advisor, and Sharon Fletcher, Esq., LLM in Taxation, who manages a tax, trust and estate practice in Kingston, NY.

The seminar will provide attendees with an overview of opportunities for establishing a plan for their estate—with a special emphasis on the ins and outs of charity giving.  The seminar hopes to promote successful estate planning, which allows for control of asset placement to family, friends and non-profit organizations.

The event is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.  In the event of inclement weather, the seminar will be held Thursday, March 4.
