| OVER 130 ATTEND SPECTRUM SERVICES FIRST GRANDFRIENDS DAY |
|
Families are central to the success of our students and we know that grandparents and other grandfriends play an important role in nurturing and supporting that success. In late 2009, Spectrum Services took the opportunity to welcome this special group to our first Grandfriends Day.
We thank the more than 100 grandparents and friends who attended our Grandfriends Days and look forward to future opportunities to share our students’ many successes with our friends and supporters. The Center for Spectrum Services is truly a family affair! |

Held in Kingston in mid-November and in Ellenville in early December, grandfriends were invited to brunch, followed by a tour of the school, a presentation and slide show on Spectrum’s programs, and a special performance by the Center for Spectrum Services Student Chorus. The special grandfriends song “We Love you Grandparents” was written by Special Educator Tyler Byrnes and performed by our students. Click
