Ski For Autism at Belleayre

All Proceeds Will Be Donated To the Center for Spectrum Services’ Programs for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders

FEBRAURY 7, 2011, KINGSTON, NY: Belleayre Mountain and the Center for Spectrum Services have partnered to present a special Ski for Autism Day to be held at Belleayre on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Belleayre Mountain has generously donated 200 specially-priced lift tickets to be sold by Spectrum Services with all proceeds to support the many programs that are offered by the Center for Spectrum Services to enhance the quality of life for children with autism and their families throughout the Hudson Valley.

Special $25 lift tickets (normally priced at $54) will provide guests with a full day of skiing, as well as automatic entry into the Race for Autism ski and snowboard race taking place the same day. Purchasers interested in participating in the race can register on the mountain on the day of the event. Center for Spectrum Services will also be presenting an information table to increase community awareness and operating a 50/50 raffle.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for Spectrum Services and we appreciate the generosity of Belleayre and its staff in making us a beneficiary,” says Laurie Rich, Director of the Spectrum Services Foundation. “With the winter we’re having, the mountain will be in great shape!”

TICKETS & RACING: Tickets are $25 and will be available on a first come, first served basis at Belleayre Mountain beginning at 8:00 a.m. on March 12th. Lift tickets include a full day of skiing and registration fees for the Race for Autism, for those wishing to participate. Races will begin at 10:30 on Yahoo.
