SPECTRUM SERVICES SPECIAL EDUCATOR NAMED TEACHER OF THE MONTH BY RADIO STATION 98.5 THE CAT

March 11, 2010 - Kingston, New York – Center for Spectrum Services Special Educator Karen Fellows will be honored as April’s Teacher of the Month by 98.5 The Cat on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Center for Spectrum Services in Kingston.

Karen, who heads a team of teachers and aides in her classroom, was nominated by her student Stephen. Both Karen and Stephen will be receiving prizes and awards from 98.5 The Cat and their sponsors Lime Gazelle, EmUrgentCare, and Sawyer Chevrolet. The prizes will be delivered by 98.5 DJ Bill Williams and Karen and Stephen’s classroom will enjoy a party rounded out with cake being delivered by Stephen’s parents. The Center for Spectrum Services welcomes our local media outlets to send a photographer to join in the celebration.

                      

The Center for Spectrum Services is a nationally recognized, New York State approved, not-for-profit program serving the needs of people with Autism Spectrum Disorders and the community that supports them. Spectrum Services offers education and school programs in Kingston and Ellenville, NY, as well as community-based services for preschool aged children.
