Fundraisers – Yankee Candle: Thank you to everyone who supported our recent Yankee Candle fundraiser, which was very successful! Mixed Bags: We will be starting our Spring Fundraiser, Mixed Bags, after our Spring Break (April 10th). If you don’t know a student to order from, you can support us by going to http://fundraiser.mixedbagdesigns.com/Online-Ordering.com Click on “I’m a friend or family member” and enter Fundraiser ID 82281 to ensure credit goes to our school. Shipping charges will apply, so ONLY order online if you can’t order directly from the family of a student or staff member of the Center. Applebees: Three local Applebees locations have generously offered to donate 10% of your bill (excluding tax and tip) when you dine at the Kingston, Middletown, or Poughkeepsie restaurants on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. We attempted this event on February 29th, but had our ONE and only snowy day of the winter (and still raised $38). A voucher for our school must be presented in order for the Center to get credit. Valentines Day: Our students enjoyed a wonderful Valentine’s Day Dance, thanks to the hard-working volunteers of our parents. Thank you to Evan Gottfriend and his wife, Maggie who provided the musical entertainment.
Mother’s Day: Keep posted for more information about an exciting Mother’s Day event being planned in collaboration with the Center for Spectrum Services Foundation. Autism Walk: April 29th at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Look for PACT’s table, come say hello and browse our school spirit and autism awareness merchandise. New T-shirts and sweatshirts have arrived and are on sale at the school or by contacting Denise Henn at 336-2616 x174. We also have baseball caps, mugs, pins, and jewelry.
Discount cards – We have Kingston area Ultimate Discount cards available for purchase. They cost $12 and offer discounts through December 31, 2012 at various Kingston retailers including Modells, Sonic, HoeBowl, Catskill Art Supply, Skytop, Buffalo Wild Wings, Steel House, The Merchant, Planet Wings, Michael’s Diner, Adams, Domino’s Pizza, Wal-Mart, Mid-Hudson Buffet, Sami’s Pizza, Hillside Manor, and more!!
Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 AM at the Kingston site of the Center for Spectrum Services. All parents, grandparents, extended family, and friends are invited. April 11, 2012 |
