My daughter has made tremendous progress and is able to attend a typical class in a public school on a part-time basis. I have worked extensively with my daughter since her diagnosis, however I feel her progress is largely because of the services she receive at the Center for Spectrum Services.Debbie

The Heart of Ulster County Beats at Spectrum Services!

Our agency has a big heart. Center for Spectrum Services' parents, staff and students have always known that! But now it is official: Spectrum Services has been awarded the 2011 Heart of Ulster County!

Each year, the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Ulster County Development Corporation hold the Ulster County Business Recognition Awards competition. Companies, agencies and individuals are nominated in a number of award categories, including: Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and Cultural Business of the Year.

There is only category for which there are no nominations: The Heart of Ulster County Award. The recipient(s) of that award are chosen by the Chamber of Commerce and Development Corporation's selection committee for their positive, unique and enduring work in the Ulster County community over time. It's the most special of the Chamber's yearly awards, and goes only to those who have spent a lifetime touching the lives of others - people like Susan Buckler, Jamey Wolff and the entire staff of Spectrum Services, in both our Kingston and Ellenville schools.
