In Spectrum Services sibling groups, the siblings of the special needs children get to talk about how their lives have been affected by the autism disorder. They can express their frustrations and concerns with other children that are going through it at the same time… The children in these groups also get to know what it is like to have autism.Ellen

Spectrum Services Nets $7,500 at the local

Spectrum Services extends its sincere thanks to Wes & Bryn Dier, owners of the local restaurant & bar in Rhinebeck, NY, as well as alumni parent and Former Foundation Board President Mari Kirwood Bird, for coordinating and hosting the Return of Bob Kirwood’s Famous Benefit Dinner for Autism. This fabulous dining event was held on January 17, 2011 (MLK, Jr Day), with all of the food and proceeds donated by the local (even the staff contributed their tips!). More than $7,500 was raised to benefit the Center for Spectrum Services. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the event!
