My daughter has made tremendous progress and is able to attend a typical class in a public school on a part-time basis. I have worked extensively with my daughter since her diagnosis, however I feel her progress is largely because of the services she receive at the Center for Spectrum Services.Debbie

Summer Autism Institute begins in August 2010

Spectrum Services launches a Summer Autism Institute for school district professionals interested in expanding their skills in serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  Beacon City School District and Catskill Central School District have retained Spectrum Services consultants to help develop new classes for students from their district who are on the spectrum.  Two comprehensive days of training for district staff will be provided at Spectrum Services in August in preparation for the initiation of these new programs in September.  Workshops will address communication, sensory and behavioral needs of this population.  Spectrum Services plans to expand the Summer Autism Institute to 5 days of training in summer 2011.
