In Spectrum Services sibling groups, the siblings of the special needs children get to talk about how their lives have been affected by the autism disorder. They can express their frustrations and concerns with other children that are going through it at the same time… The children in these groups also get to know what it is like to have autism.Ellen

For Parents

In this section, you will find helpful information about your child’s educational program. Almost all the information you need can be found in the blue box to the lower right. Our parent handbook includes details about our philosophy, policies and procedures. It should answer your questions about a typical school day, what items to send to school with your child, our medical policies and many other aspects of your child’s services.

Our calendar and newsletter include information about school closings, parent workshops, special events and other items of interest. The Ellenville and Kingston menus describe what is being served from our kitchens for breakfast and lunch. Here you will also find all the medical and consent forms needed for your child’s records.

As always, please call your Family Service Coordinator if you have any questions or need support in any way.
