Our Program Director Receives Commissioner of Education Appointment

Congratulations to Spectrum Services co-founder and Program Director, Jamey Wolff, for her appointment to the New York State Commissioner of Education’s Advisory Panel for Special Education Services (CAP).  She will be one of 3 special education administrators who sit on the panel with other representatives from State agencies and constituency groups.  As a member of CAP, she will be asked to review and provide comments on proposed regulations and New York State Education Department documents and publications as well as provide information about the unmet needs children with disabilities are facing.  Jamey has served on several on other New York State Committees in the past.  As a member of the New York State Autism Task Force, she provided input and review in the development of The Autism Program Quality Indicators: a quality improvement guide for schools and programs serving students with on the Spectrum. Jamey is also the Coordinator of the Hudson Alliance for Children with Special Needs, a consortium of 22 special education programs serving preschoolers in the Mid-Hudson Valley.
