Relationship Development Intervention®

Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®)  is a comprehensive, research-based remediation program that strives to improve the quality of life for individuals with ASDs by helping parents address the core deficits of autism, such as experience-sharing communication, flexible thinking and self-awareness.

By working with an RDI® certified consultant, parents gain the tools they need to help their children become mentally engaged in their world, manage ever-changing social systems, and experience relationships in more meaningful ways. RDI® goes beyond teaching rote skills and limited social scripts. Through parent-directed participation in challenging activities, children are able to increase flexibility, social competence and the capacity for developing spontaneous relationships.
